What motivated Anton, a member of the Russian National Team, to make Salomon his choice? According to Anton, “I have had nothing but great feet in my years in Salomon boots and bindings. The idea of working with one company for skis, boots and binding as an integrated system has always attracted me. After extensive tests during the last ski season, I feel that Salomon unique ability to control every part of their boot, binding and now ski engineering and manufacturing allows them to create the best final product.

Anton explains further, “In Russia we have the AvtoVAZ car brand that pieces together various parts and patents from other companies to create a vehicle that is nothing special or innovative. For this reason I would rather have a Mercedes which controls each aspect of its final product than an AvtoVAZ. For me, Salomon is the Mercedes of skis.”

Concluding Anton states, “I am grateful to Salomon for help in the past and look forward to the coming season now with great optimism. I am hopeful this change to Salomon will allow me to achieve my goals of victories not only in the World Cup, but also at the World Championships in Italy and of course the Olympic Games in Sochi!
