KHANTY MANSIYK BIATHLON WORLD CUP
In that very last step before the World Cup final to win the Crystal globe, Sandrine Bailly scored twice, finishing 2nd on Sprint and Pursuit. She unfortunately failed on the mass start, missing 8 out of 20 shots. "I suddenly felt tired, wasn't clear-headed and couldn't concentrate anymore - and this you pay cash in biathlon !"
As a result, Magdalena NEUNER reached exactly the same amount of points and Andrea HENKEL is very short behind both of them.
The final will take place in Oslo between March 13 and 15th. We wish Sandrine to give her best and win the overall !
Special mention to Sylvie BECAERT (equipped with Salomon skis, boots and bindings) who took the 5th place at the mass start. We also count on her to make an excellent finish in Oslo.
