In Saturday's individual distance races, Justyna Kowalczyk (POL) claimed victory, winning on the challenging 2 x 5 km course 26,2 seconds ahead of the current World Cup leader Aino Kaisa Saarinen from Finland.. The courses in Otepää seem to fit Kowalczyk very well as she won there two years ago her first ever World Cup and also achieved her first podium in 2006.

Johan Olsson, the Swede who won his first ever World Cup race this season in Davos, made a powerful sprint on the last kilometer to finish 1.5 seconds behind Lukas BAUER !

Justyna and Johan both race on Salomon S-lab boots and bindings.
